Job Overview:
Corazón Puro is an organization dedicated to awakening and accompanying leaders, beginning with Latino youth and young adults, in areas of great need. The REAL Formation Assistant provides support to the REAL Formation Program Director in executing operational and administrative tasks for completion of Corazón Puro’s REAL Formation project.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage projects timelines with cross-functional team and report delays and present recommendations to the REAL Program Director.
Work with team to ensure all projects assets are available and organized by the assigned deadlines.
Work with REAL Program director on marketing and sales strategy.
Supervise REAL Formation test period and be the primary liaison between test parishes and CP office.
Support test parishes with all their needs.
Support organizing information for grant report in a timely manner.
Work with outside agency to develop REAL Formation app.
Support Program director in activities specially to comply with deadlines.
Support Program Director with mailing efforts for donor relationship and communications.
Organize CP and REAL Formation participation in conferences/ Trade shows including but not limited to updating and printing marketing material, traveling to the shows, doing presentations, inviting volunteers to participate, etc.
Conducting online and in-person REAL Formation presentations, training, conducting and providing support.
Scheduling and attending business development meetings.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Committed to live and ability to articulate, the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Possesses strong social and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Highly organized and strong time management skills.
Able to lead a team in meeting deadlines and project completion
Office experience required
Be social, energetic and comfortable making calls/visits.
Must be highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as with others in a group setting.
Strong leadership skills and experience.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive materials and situations.
Knowledgeable of navigating social media networks.
Available for weekend and evening tasks and events as needed.
Flexibility to travel.
Proficient in English and Spanish
Catechesis experience preferred
EMPLOYMENT SPECIFICATIONS
Employee will participate in quarterly performance evaluation.
Employee is subject to a three-month provisional period, after which the position will be reevaluated, and progress assessed.
Employment at Corazón Puro is “at will.” This means that either you or Corazón Puro may terminate your employment at any time, with or without cause, unless otherwise stated.
COMPENSATION
This is a full time position.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Theology or related experience.
Master’s degree preferred
Evaluation:
This position will be evaluated periodically (at least every 3-4 months) by the Director of REAL Formation, where the efficacy and timeliness of the carrying out of responsibilities will be examined.
